Community Arts means community. Arts are an integral part of our lives and Monongalia Arts Center is here to make sure they have a home. MAC works with many other organizations than what are listed here. MAC is always more than willing to create partnerships and work with other groups and organizations for the greater good.

MAC was delighted to be a part of Stepping Stones Very Special Arts Day 2008 at Mylan Park. We coordinate Arts education activities for dozens of participants.
Through partnerships with MAC, Children in the Shack Neighborhood House Summer programs learned about mixing colors using pigments and how to make chalk by hand among other things in this picture. They are demonstrating the results of their work at the end of several Arts sessions on the sidewalk in front of MAC.
