Exhibit Sponsorship
Stretch your donation dollars further. Sponsoring an exhibit is easy. Your name is attached to the gallery via huge vinyl letters on the entrance, and your name will also be acknowledged on our website, in our weekly mailings, on the postcards for the duration of an exhibit, as well as in the newspaper with the exhibit press release. All for a mere $250! Almost no other status-quo non-profit can offer a deal like that!
Fix MAC's radiators
Are you tired of seeing buckets hanging off the radiators around the building. Well so are we.
General Operations $50 Donation
The hardest funds to raise are often the most obvious. General operations expenses are the bulk of any organization's expense. Around 70% of MAC's budget goes towards covering operational costs. These costs include things like keeping the building above freezing in the winter, routine maintenance, supplies, taxes, printing and mailing, cleaning supplies, emergency repairs and just keeping the lights on.

Internet Sponsorship
Donation TRIFECTA
Our WiFi signal maybe free to the public but ultimately someone is paying the bill. It costs MAC $400 to be connected in the 21st century digital age. Our internet service is currently provided by Morgantown locally-owned provider, Labyrinth Solutions. They are by far the most affordable carrier in our area. With your support of $400, this service would be free for us, your money would still stay in the local economy, and you get a great tax write-off for it. 1. Helps MAC, 2. Your money stays in local economy, 3. You get a tax receipt. TRIFECTA!
One month of warmth in the winter
If you have ever been in the MAC during the winter, you have noticed that the building is not exactly toasty. We keep the thermostat at 62F during work hours and 55F when closed. However just keeping that warmth cost an average of $1,814.00 per month. With peak gas bills around $2,500, utilities expenses make up a massive portion of our operational budget. Helping us pay for our gas is bigger than almost anything else you could do short of buying the naming rights to a gallery or classroom.
Clean-off the 1980s from Studio 4
MAC depends on the goodwill of others for everything. In the 1980s, mauve (gray-pinkish color also commonly found in retirement homes, scrubs for medical professionals, and the late 1930s) was a trendy color and painted (with the best of intentions) on almost every solid surface in MAC. We used and loved Studio 4 for years after with the mauve. That same shade of mauve, 25+ years later doesn't seem as fresh though. Aged paint mixed with heavily cracked plaster and oil-leaking fluorescent lights makes for a great opening sequence for the crime-discovery part of "Law and Order", but is not the best for making a useable space for a community Arts center. Needless to say, MAC needs your goodwill to turnaround this room. Patching the plaster, painting it a neutral white, and replacing the lights can be accomplished for a mere $400.00.
