
Giving without money is easier than you think!
There are two basic categories of moneyless donations:
Time & Stuff
Most accountants agree that these two donation categories will not directly impact your bank statements in a negative fashion. Your time has immense value to MAC as does the personality, ideas and motivation attached to it. We can always find some way for you to help us out... in fact there is a page devoted to uses of your time...RIGHT HERE!
MAC also takes STUFF. We have uses for lots of things you might be looking unload. Below is a list of stuff MAC would love for you to unload on our door step (more precisely, give to our Lobby Manager so he can write you a donation receipt).

Below is a list of non-Art skilled time:
Data entry in excel
Scraping, patching and painting all the time
Scanning and Photographing MACstore items for the internet
Lobby watching in the evenings and/or weekends
Plaster patching
Help cleaning and dusting
Weekly bookkeeping assistance (easier than it sounds)
Electrical help almost all the time (wiring lights and switches)
Curatorial assistance - wrapping and inventory of Art works
Organizing skills - sorting through boxes and papers
File clerk -ability to sort papers and alphabetize things
Pipe-fitter/bioler maker (for our leaky 95-year-old radiator system)
Below is a list of cultural labor that requires a 6-month commitment and a simple interview with MAC staff:

Track-light tracks
Track-light track heads (the lights in the tracks)
White paint (1 gallon or more please)
Aluminum paint (no fibers)
Paint brushes and roller sleeves
Drop cloths
White and black fabric
Decent looking artificial trees
Glass ladle for a punch bowl (someone stole our last one)
Glass platters
Hair dryer (incredibly useful for things not hair related)
Fishing line
Scissors
Heavy duty tape dispenser
Floor polish
Simple Green cleaner
WIndow Cleaner
Paper towels
Patching plaster
Podium
Pedestals for displaying art work
Large metal shelves
Plastic wrap (like Saran wrap or commercial shirk wrap)
RENT FREE STORAGE UNIT
Digital Age Items:
Apple Intel based computer (any)- its worth asking
Any old working laptop
Digital SLR camera (or a decent digital camera)
Larger flatbed scanner that uses USB
Laser printer that works (age is not an issue)
LCD computer monitors
Programming Items:
Arts and culture related books
Working sewing machines
Blank sheets of paper (any size)
Charcoal and pencils for drawing
Conte crayons and pastels
Easels
Heavy duty camera tripod
Plasticine
Modeling Clay
Armature wire
