Monongalia Arts Center works constantly to advance local and regional Artists through new programming and ongoing support. Check out our constantly updated Exhibitor Advice page for tips on having a successful show. Some of our new programs include the West Virginia Artists Guild and the regions only community photography lighting studio. MAC is also working on streamlining our gallery applications process and providing pain free ways to circulate and/or market your artwork continuously throughout the region.

Arts Advocacy of West Virginia is a grass roots non-profit organization representing the state arts community, including (but not limited to) museums, theatre companies, orchestras, dance companies, county arts councils, and individual craftspeople, filmmakers, painters, musicians, potters, teachers, and volunteers.
Two years in the making, MAC is finally getting close to unveiling our new community photography studio. Now, Artists, independent businesses, students and enthusiasts will have affordable access to professional lighting equipment, decent cameras, slide and flatbed scanners, and a photo-editing workstation in one place. No other facility of this nature currently exists in our region. Contact MAC for more details. We are also recruiting volunteers to help us finish and staff the studio (located in MAC's lower level; street level access available.)
MACrotation and the MACstore are here to serve local and regional artists. We just rebuilt and created our new online store front as well as expanded our physical store located in MAC's main lobby area. We have some of the lowest commissions available and give you the flexibility to rotate and refresh your stock as you see fit. MACrotation is our new program devoted to promoting art in the community through business partnerships and also giving you a way a place to keep your flat arts when not in rotation at local businesses. Contact MAC for more details, we are also always recruiting volunteers to help with this program.
Arts Monongahela is a MAC Arts partner organization devoted to promoting local arts organizations and artists. Arts Mon created the Artist Registry as a mechanism for interested parties to locate and communicate directly with local artists.
